| Significant Installation at Major Hotel and Country Club within Marriott Hotel GroupDuring the course of early June EMS (European) completed the installation of in excess of 100 motor energy controls, (both single phase and three phase), across a wide variety of applications at the prestigious Marriott, Hollins Hall Hotel and Country Club.The installation, which was completed without disruption to any of the site facilities or running of the hotel, encompassed a wide range of applications including the kitchen fridges, freezers and air extraction; bar fridges and bottle coolers as well as general site air conditioning.The fitted units were sited either within the existing equipments, such as adjacent to the compressors on fridges and bottle coolers or, where this was not practical, in new cabinets or within plant rooms. The primary objective was to complete the installations without obstruction or intrusion to the hotel staff, whilst providing ease of access to the units fitted, for future maintenance.This installation is the first within the Marriott Group and follows extensive trials of EnviroStart within other hotel and leisure centres. Significant energy savings of in excess of 25% have been achieved on similar sites. Careful monitoring and management of energy is a watchword for the Marriott Group which embraces new technologies such as EnviroStart where they can be proven to provide reliability and savings with an effective payback period and demonstrable return on investment.Measurements taken since the beginning of the installation by Marriott themselves have identified that this location has reduced its energy costs by over £1,500 per month providing a payback of just over one year.
